Missing the South!

Rebecca was with me in Savannah when I got the phone call from my family telling me to come home. It was towards the end of September, the weather reporters were calling for hurricanes up and down the east coast. Rebecca had just been evacuated from New Orleans and was a wreck. Despite her not knowing if her home was still standing, she continued working very hard and took on a ton of freelance. When I got the call, she almost demanded that she drive home with me. I kept saying, "no, no, you have enough to worry about" but I really wanted her to go. I did not want to face my sad family alone. For some reason Rebecca was the only one I could ever talk about my mom’s illness with. She is a quality friend and every chick should have a friend just like her. She is going to die if she see this. Anyway, the 9 hour drive home SUCKED. We went through the craziest rainstorms. But we did stop at South of the Border. Here are some pics I took with my Lomo!!
